Here is a brief overview of our service offerings.

There are a variety of services that we offer families upon the death or imminent death of their pet.

Private

In this industry-standard procedure, pets are placed in a separate and identified part of the cremation chamber. Your pet is assigned a unique numbered stainless steel identification disk. A cremation certificate and standard urn are provided, or you may purchase an urn from our wide selection.

A cremation certificate and standard urn are provided. This process provides the pet owner with the assurance of guaranteed and accurate identification at an economic cost.

Private Cremation

  • Less than 1 pound: $75.00
  • 1 to 14 pounds: $145.00
  • 15 to 59 pounds: $170.00
  • 60 to 89 pounds: $195.00
  • 90 to 110 pounds: $220.00
  • 111+ pounds: $255.00
  • Equine/Non-Housepet: $280.00

Individual

This service is provided for pet owners who want their pet cremated individually.

Your pet is assigned a unique numbered stainless steel identification disc and a cremation certificate.

  • Please add $200.00 to the Private fee schedule to have an Individual cremation take place.

Shared

This service is provided as a humane and dignified means of final disposition. Pets are cremated in a shared group at the same time.

The cremated remains are interred in an identifiable area on our on-site Memorial Garden, which can be visited any time. Please note that remains are interred Spring and Fall with weather permitting.

  • Less than 1 pound: $10.00
  • 1 to 49 pounds: $70.00
  • 50 to 89 pounds: $90.00
  • 90 to 110 pounds: $115.00
  • 111+ pounds: $135.00

Timing

From the time we receive your pet, it will take approximately 5 business days for us to notify you that the cremated remains are ready for pick up at our city office.

If you wish to check on the status of your pet sooner, you are welcome to contact us at 306.343.5322 to see if the cremains are ready for pick up.

The Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden is a final resting place for the pets whose families have chosen the shared cremation option. The Memorial Garden will give your beloved pet a permanent location that you can visit whenever you would like.

The Memorial Garden is located at Family Pet Cremation Services, 9 km south of Saskatoon on Highway 11, south at Prairie View Road.

Memorial Garden Structure

To find where your pet’s cremated remains have been laid to rest, first find the section that applies to the year that your pet was cremated, then walk to the centre until you reach the circle that applies to the month your pet was cremated.
